do you remember when you were

a little kid and all you could do was think about was what you were getting for christmas that year? you’d spend months thinking about it.  imagining it.  by the time the 25th rolled around all that built up anticipation was over with in a few brief moments.

so was your dream gift really about actually having that shiny new toy in your hand, or the three months you spent imagining what it would be like to have it?

anticipation and a little bit of expectation are the two states that we spend way more time living in than, say, gratification.

and that’s why the cherry blossom cabaret rocks.
